A Blog of Bosh 
This is a curious one. The “letter” by Vivian Noakes pasted on verso is unsigned. And the references to other Christie’s sales alluded to by the labels on verso are also perhaps somewhat misleading, as this drawing was not included / not sold in either of those two sales. To me the drawing itself also doesn’t completely look like it’s by our friend either. Interested to hear what others might think.
I admit I had my doubts but it was given as a sure thing it was by Lear. I absolutely agree with you.
I don’t usually post unsignedLears unless I feel very sure about them.
