Inscribed ‘between Avlona & Kumi./ near the roar of an unknown sea/ a new land. but I die.’ (lower left), and dated and numbered ’20. June. 1848 / (157.’ (lower right). Pencil, pen and brown ink and watercolour. 6½ x 10 in. (16.5 x 25.4 cm.)
