Signed, inscribed and dated ‘Parnassus/ Edward Lear del./ 1856.’ (lower right). Pencil, pen and brown ink and watercolour, heightened with white on duck-egg blue paper. 12 ½ x 20 in. (31.8 x 50.8 cm.)
