    I think that this mountain is Mount Soratte (Soracte) outside of Rome, with the Tiber River flowing in front, and several umbrella (pinus pinea) pine trees.

    Here below is a photo of Mount Soratte, and below that is Lear’s painting related to the watercolor that you sent.
